3. Publication and Peer-Review Process

SALIKSIK follows a structured editorial and double-blind peer-review process to support the quality, integrity, and relevance of published research.

Submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening to assess their suitability for the journal, compliance with submission requirements, originality, ethical considerations, and baseline scholarly quality. Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to qualified peer reviewers whose expertise aligns with the subject matter.

Reviewer identities and author identities are concealed from one another during the review process. Reviewers provide independent assessments, constructive feedback, and recommendations. Authors may be required to revise their manuscripts in response to reviewers' comments. Revised submissions undergo editorial verification before a final publication decision is made.

Accepted manuscripts proceed through copyediting, layout, author proofing, and publication preparation. The Editor-in-Chief retains responsibility for final editorial decisions, subject to the journal's established policies and ethical standards.

4. Open Access Policy

SALIKSIK provides readers with free online access to its published research, consistent with the journal's open-access publishing model. The journal supports the dissemination of scholarly knowledge and recognizes the value of making research available to academic communities, practitioners, and the public.

Readers may access published articles without subscription fees. Any reuse, redistribution, or adaptation of published material remains subject to the applicable copyright terms and licensing conditions stated on the relevant article or journal website.

The journal's specific reuse license, including whether a Creative Commons license applies, should be consulted in the article's publication metadata and copyright notice.

5. Publication Ethics and Research Integrity

SALIKSIK is committed to integrity, transparency, objectivity, fairness, and accountability throughout the scholarly publishing process.

Authors are expected to submit original work that is not simultaneously under consideration by another journal, acknowledge sources appropriately, report findings accurately, comply with applicable research ethics requirements, disclose funding sources, and declare relevant conflicts of interest.

Editors are responsible for evaluating submissions fairly and impartially, maintaining confidentiality, managing conflicts of interest, and ensuring that editorial decisions are based on scholarly merit and the journal's policies.

Peer reviewers must provide objective, constructive, and timely assessments; maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts; disclose potential conflicts of interest; and refrain from using unpublished material for personal advantage.

Allegations of plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, authorship misconduct, or other ethical violations will be assessed and investigated appropriately. Depending on the findings, the journal may reject a submission, request corrections, publish a correction or retraction, or take other appropriate action to protect the integrity of the scholarly record.

6. Copyright and Licensing

Copyright ownership and licensing conditions for articles published in SALIKSIK are governed by the journal's applicable copyright policy and the terms displayed in the published article.

Authors should review the copyright notice and applicable license before submission. Unless expressly permitted by the applicable license or authorized in writing by the rights holder, reproduction or redistribution of published material must comply with the relevant copyright requirements.

The journal will identify the applicable copyright holder and reuse license in its submission policies and article metadata.
