Vol. 1 No. 1 (2025): SALIKSIK: A Multidisciplinary Research Journal
Volume 1, Issue 1 (2025)
The inaugural issue of SALIKSIK: A Multidisciplinary Research Journal (Volume 1, Issue 1, 2025) presents eight scholarly papers addressing contemporary issues and emerging challenges across education, literature, student affairs and services, business management, healthcare, leadership, language and culture, and public governance. The contributions examine the application of outcomes-based education in classroom instruction, ecological perspectives in contemporary Philippine speculative fiction, the professional development needs of student affairs practitioners, operational innovations in quick-service restaurants, and the relationship between technological competence and compassion among Filipino nurses. The issue also explores leadership behavior and professional development among university administrators, teachers’ experiences in private schools through a Filipino-language study, and the role of the Commission on Appointments in military appointments from 1987 to 2022. Collectively, these studies demonstrate the value of multidisciplinary research in understanding institutional practices, professional experiences, and societal concerns, while offering insights that may inform educational improvement, organizational development, healthcare practice, and public policy.
